The review
Pizza Wine Disco (commonly known as PWD) took King West by storm by eliminating the self-serious velvet rope attitude and replacing it with two things people actually love: great pizza and disco music. The aesthetic is pure Studio 54 retro chic, with mirror balls throwing specks of light across leather booths and red-and-white checkered tablecloths.
The food is shockingly good for a nightlife-first venue. The hot honey pepperoni pizza features proper sourdough fermentation, charred crust blisters, and high-quality cheese. Pair it with a chilled orange wine or Disco Spritz.
Honest notes: once the clock strikes 10:30pm, the dining tables near the bar are cleared, the disco balls spin at full speed, and the room transforms into one of the most joyfully uninhibited dance parties on King West.
