Wood-Fired Branzino
Whole roasted sea bass over charcoal, chimichurri and sea salt. The standout main to share.
Supper Club · Queen West
Bohemian coastal supper club that blurs dinner, live fire and tribal house into late-night Queen West
Soluna has mastered the notoriously elusive 'supper club' format in Toronto, where most attempts feel like a restaurant pretending to be a club or a club pretending to serve food. Here, the wood-fired Mediterranean cooking is taken seriously: the charred whole branzino and hamachi crudo stand on their own merits.
Around 10:30pm, the lighting dims, percussionists and performers move through the room, and the resident DJs ease the room from dinner vibes into deep tribal house. The crowd stays put, migrating from banquettes to the central bar and the sun-drenched rooftop terrace in the summer months.
Honest notes: if you want a calm dinner, book the 5:30pm seating. If you want the full supper club spectacle, aim for 8:45pm, order the branzino to share, and settle in for the night.
